The Truth.wmv is the nineteenth video of Awakening and the thirty-ninth video in Ben Drowned. It is preceded by Methods of Revolution [Ben.wmv] and followed by Methods of Revolution [The Truth.wmv].
Synopsis
Sarah plays the Song of Healing to Ben. After a moment of hesitation, she encounters him and he reveals the truth of what happened to Jadusable and all others who played the cartridge. She is given new power.

Description
The players have chosen to play the Song of Healing to the mysterious spirit that seems to be the only living thing left that inhabits a dying, glitched world destroyed by The Father. A startling revelation is made almost decade in the making, and the finale begins.
Transcript
The video immediately begins where Methods of Revolution (Ben.wmv) left off, with Sarah standing in front of the tree stump. She slowly inputs the notes for Song of Healing, and the song plays on the ocarina. The piano version of Song of Healing immediately begins to play in the background, and Sarah stands still for a few seconds. She looks around in a circle in first-person mode before stopping at the tree stump. As Sarah walks away from the tree, the music transitions to Ben's Theme and she walks towards the trees. Sarah runs behind a tree and as the music abruptly stops, she looks ahead to see the Elegy of Emptiness statue in the distance. Sarah continues to run and hide behind the trees as she gets closer to the statue, and the statue begins to teleport closer to her as well. Sarah sidesteps closer and attempts to observe the statue as it keeps moving around, but as goes back into first-person mode she sees the statue is staring directly at her. Sarah looks to the right to see another statue slightly further away is doing the same. The mask transformation scream is heard as Sarah finds herself unable to run away, and the screen turns white.
A blue text box appears on the screen as Ben begins to speak:
- "I've been trapped in here for so long... No one could ever find me."
- "He's been using me for all this time,, tormenting me and anyone who tries to intervene."
- "Someone else came close years ago, but he was all by himself and The F@ath@ had already gotten too strong."
- "He made him another vessel."
- "He can control our actions, and our words. We have moments of free will-"
An error sound plays before the text is cut off with "I'm sorry. Sometimes I don't know I'm saying."
After a brief pause, the text boxes appear again:
- "The glitches are spreading. There's not much left to save us now."
- "This is the last safe place from him, and now that he knows you're here it won't be for long."
- "You have to go back to where it all began and stop him."
Another brief pause occurs before Ben continues:
- "Everyone else is gone. He's corrupted and consumed them all."
- "You are a stranger to us, but those before you have suffered so much. Please heal our souls."
Ben's Theme plays again as Sarah appears floating in a white void. A montage of clips from the Haunted Cartridge Arc are seen faintly around her. The top left shows Jadusable attempting to fight Skull Kid on top of Clock Tower before bursting into flames in day four.wmv. The top right shows Jadusable’s broken model in the Stone Tower in BEN.wmv. The bottom left shows Jadusable playing the Song of Healing in front of the Happy Mask Salesman, Skull Kid, the Elegy statue and Epona in BEN.wmv. The bottom right shows Jadusable frozen in place in Clock Tower from jadusable.wmv. As they finish, the screen fades to show a close-up of Sarah's face, and the Skull Kid's laugh is heard over and over as Sarah runs away from a Giant Deku. A scream is heard, and the screen cuts to black.
The screen cuts back to Sarah floating in the white void, and she lands on the ground. Looking in first-person mode, she sees the same Giant Deku from CHILDREN.wmv. A white flash occurs, and as Sarah zooms out it is shown that she has transformed into Adult Link. She slashes her sword before running towards the Giant Deku. She slashes the Giant Deku, a cry of pain is heard, and the screen cuts to black. A glitched music stave and the Lens of Truth appear on screen, with the text “Please save us”. Sarah then appears back in the misty woods from before. She looks at her new game model, seemingly in surprise, and walks slowly towards the tree stump with Link and Skull Kid engraved on top. Sarah then plays the Song of Time, returning to the Dawn of the First Day.
Sarah appears in Clock Town and looks behind her. The Adult Mask has now been added to her inventory. She slowly walks forward, staring up at the Moon and the Clock Tower, and the video ends.

Notes
- During Ben's monologue, a text box abruptly ends and is replaced with the text, "I'm sorry. Sometimes I don't know what I'm saying." This, plus the tags, seem to suggest Rosa is the one who is actually speaking to Sarah.
- Interestingly, during the montage of clips from the Haunted Cartridge arc, DROWNED.wmv is not featured. It is, however, featured as the final clip before Sarah is granted the form of Adult Link.
- The video was originally set for release on June 7 and contained a continuation of the riot storyline established in baker.txt; however, due to the subject matter too-closely mirroring real-life protests at the time, the video was delayed and the content in question was removed prior to its upload.
- This is the first video in the Awakening Arc to be pulled and modified due to close mirrors to real-life events, followed by The Fourth Day.wmv in October.
