The Lost Hero is the unofficial name given to a short video Tweeted by Alex Hall on August 17, 2020. It is preceded by The Predecessor.wmv and followed by The Showdown.wmv.
Synopsis
The events of the video are not shown on-screen. Audio and on-screen text describe Rosa being approached by an unknown entity. At first she mistakes them for Sarah, but quickly realizes otherwise as they come closer. The entity brandishes a sword and Rosa screams for help.

The screen was black, with only on-screen text appearing. An unseen speaker asked, "Wait... you're not her, are you?" The sound of rain faded in afterward. They continued, "This can't be right... you're supposed to be dead. And your face... it's all wrong." The text lingered for slightly longer before continuing. "...What's happened to you?!"
The entity took several steps to approach the speaker and unsheathed a sword, revealing them to be someone inhabiting the body of Link.
With a scream, which revealed the speaker as Rosa, she continued, "...?! Get away from me!! SARAH!! Someone!!"
The sounds of rain continued, with "Lost in My Thoughts" playing faintly for the last few seconds.Description

- There are two versions of this video. The original, uploaded at 9:04pm and deleted at 9:18, contained a typo and fewer lines of dialogue from Rosa, as well as a more abrupt ending. The revised version was uploaded soon afterward at 9:26.
- It is unknown when the events of this video were meant to take place. Alex Hall confirmed that it was a teaser for a story branch that was ultimately never shown due to player decisions, and as a result, it is unclear whether the video's events actually occurred.
