gateway.wmv is the sixth video of Awakening and the twenty-sixth video in Ben Drowned. It is preceded by iseeyou and followed by sonata.wmv.
Synopsis
In Termina Field, Link tries to put on a mask, then goes to face the four figures in the distance: Epona, Skull Kid, Happy Mask Salesman, and the Elegy of Emptiness statue. Link grabs his ocarina.

Transcript
Video distortion plays for several seconds. Alongside it, a whisper that says, "Do you remember? Time is running." NeverCould plays briefly before gameplay starts. Link is in Termina Field, facing the camera as he puts on the Deku Mask. It briefly changes to the Fierce Deity Mask before the animation changes to the Zora Mask. When the animation finishes, Link is unchanged.
There is no music as Link looks out into southern Termina Field. He sees Epona in the distance and approaches, not seeing the other three figures until he walks closer. Creeeep Sales fades in as he approaches, now seeing the Skull Kid (facing opposite the others), Happy Mask Salesman, and Elegy of Emptiness statue. He looks from a distance before slowly walking to Epona. He looks at her and then turns to the other three, sidesteps, then approaches the salesman. He looks at him, then to all others before turning his attention to the salesman again. Link uses the Ocarina of Time and the song jingle plays.

Notes
- The binary in the description came in parts. The premiere began with the first section, and the next two sections were added at 5:40, one right after the other. The first binary sequence translated to an uncoded sentence, however the second and third were Vigenere ciphers, with keys "key" and "link," respectively. In sequence, they all translate to:
- the gateway blocks to building ephemeral life, crash together
- dlgc agvp fopn VMLU xfoq rykcdlcb (this will help LINK them together)
- epvxv jnmv arfpznv jmnbd, euoy enc epr kawpkwgccp? (think back several years, when was the apocalypse?)
- The binary in the spectrogram reads, "01110111 01101000 01100001 01110100 00100000 01101000 01100001 01110000 01110000 01100101 01101110 01100101 01100100 00100000 01101001 01101110 002012" and translates to, "what happened in 2012".
- The sequence shown in the video is almost identical to BEN.wmv with several changes:
- Link spends much more time looking at the surrounding area.
- Link does not look in the opposite direction of the figures.
- Creeeep Sales does not play until Link is much closer to the figures.
- Link makes a direct path toward the figures and is much more careful and hesitant.
- Link spends much more time looking at the figures.
- Link's inventory contains the Pendant of Memories in place of the Moon Stone (an unused item that functions the same as the former).
- Link now has the Child Wallet and 12 rupees instead of the Giant Wallet and 0 rupees.
- Link now has 3 hearts instead of 11.
- Link now has no magic meter.
- Link opens the Ocarina of Time and the video ends before anything is played.
