free.wmv is the fifth and final video of The Haunted Cartridge and the seventh video in Ben Drowned. It is preceded by jadusable.wmv and followed by fj6rt.
Synopsis
On September 15, 2010, the tripcode used by Jadusable posted the following message: "Honesty is the best policy," with a download link to TheTruth.rtf. Exactly 108 minutes later, free.wmv was uploaded. It is the final message to the viewers, regarding the state of BEN.
Summary
Three versions of this chapter exist. The first, containing the full original /x/ post, was published on September 15, 2010. The second, posted on youshouldnthavedonethat.net, was published on September 20, 2010. The third and most recent, posted on Within Hubris, was published on February 17, 2011; this is considered to be the optimal version for first-time readers. All three versions are present below.
As promised, Jadusable (or rather, his roommate) posted a link to download TheTruth.txt at 11:04pm. Jadusable's post was uncharacteristically short and consisted of simply "Honesty is the best policy" followed by a download link.
This document contains all of the notes that Jadusable had been taking during the entire ordeal and now they were made available for the entire world.

The video is only 18 seconds long, and consists of a black screen. Two lines of text appear. Together, they read as, "The counter resets. I'm glad you did that." Just before the video ends, a dim view of Link's bedroom from Ocarina of Time can be seen.

Notes
- This is the first video created by BEN, instead of Jadusable.
- The meaning of the text in the video corresponds with the revelation that Jadusable had no roommate, and means that those who downloaded TheTruth.rtf inadvertently helped BEN escape onto the Internet.
- On March 29, 2012, the name of this video was changed to "you can hear me.wmv" for a few days. This was later revealed to be part of the April Fools joke.
