"I was in the orchard, and I don't know if I caught any of the sound or video on my camera, but there were some dogs freaking out, and it wasn't at me."
Orchard2.wmv is the fourth video in the Ryukaki side-story. It is preceded by The Orchard.wmv and followed by theconnection.wmv.
Synopsis
On October 7, 2010, Kayd uploaded another video shortly after The Orchard.wmv, in which he returns to the spot he jumped the fence at in the previous video, only to find that his phone is gone. He mentions that dogs showed up and chased off whatever was following him.
Video
Description
I started running again after some sounds in the first video, apparently the camera got shut off. You can hear the dogs in the first video pretty clearly.
This was taken roughly an hour after the first. All important details are in the video.
Wish me luck everyone. I'm going to try and find somewhere safe to go over the schoolyard footage. I know a friend who should be able to help.
Transcript
The camera is focused on Kayd's face for the entire video. "This is Kayd Hendricks. I'm outside the property where my bike was. My phone is gone, I-I don't know if somebody stole it, or what happened, but it's gone. I was in the orchard, and I don't know if I caught any of the sound or video on my camera, but there were some dogs freaking out, and it wasn't at me. They were chasing something else. I-I don't know if I got them, but, apparently they scared it off, because after a short while, one of the dogs was gone, and they've mellowed out, and came over to check on me, so...I don't know what the hell is going on, but I don't know where I'm safe. I'm going to try and keep moving."
Notes
- Kayd mentions that his phone was stolen, but the way he worded it caused much of the audience to interpret him as saying his bike was stolen. This was the basis of a long-running joke, partially due to the fact that his bike can be seen right behind him as he says it.
