Kayd Hendricks is a contributing writer to the second part of the YSHDT Arc, which he conducted with little outside help. He is a writer, graphic designer, and digital artist currently employed at Studio Wildcard. The character Ryukaki is based entirely on him.

Biography

Education

Kayd has an Associate's degree in Game and Interactive Media Design from Oxnard College.

Work

Kayd has held two positions for the game development company Trendy Entertainment. As Design/QA Lead and Designer, he took part in the development of both Dungeon Defenders and Dungeon Defenders II.

In 2014, he began working at Studio Wildcard, going through several positions during the development of ARK: Survival Evolved and is currently the Senior Technical and Gameplay Designer on the project.

Role in the ARG

During the Moon Children Arc, Kayd was the sole player to receive a username and password from Rosa, which led to his character's mention in mhftt.txt. He was given permission from Alex Hall to orchestrate his own side story, which contained several videos and MediaFire files. After his part in the ARG ended, a Tenor account for Ryukaki was made on Within Hubris.
