Jadus is a survivor of the societal collapse caused by the 2018 H.E.R.O.E.S. epidemic depicted in the Awakening Arc. He began uploading videos to Jadusable's YouTube channel in March of 2020.

History

H.E.R.O.E.S.

By 2018, Jadus had moved into a house with his wife. Despite having everything he could want, he yearned for more. Some time later, the outbreak of a mysterious virus called H.E.R.O.E.S. caused a global breakdown of society. In its early stages, Jadus found himself cautiously optimistic regarding his future, and found himself increasingly happy.

After the first year of the outbreak, Jadus met with his friend Baker in a coffee shop in St. Louis. Baker told him that CUIMC was working on something "biblical" in response to the outbreak, and that he should avoid whatever they introduce. Before leaving, Baker suggested Jadus leave St. Louis in the next few days due to an impending riot that will inevitably result in a military response.

Awakening

Sometime after the meeting, most likely on April 23, 2019, Jadus awoke inside of a mysterious hotel. After an undetermined amount of time, he was no longer trapped and began work as a guard at an undisclosed location, likely in or around St. Louis. During this time, he and his partner Denton searched for a man called "Berkeley." Upon finding him, he revealed his real name as Tyler Lawman shortly before committing suicide. Sometime after this event, Jadus began recounting events from his past in videos on Jadusable's YouTube channel. It is currently unknown how this was achieved.

Personality

Jadus is a former alcoholic with a history of depression. He was shown to be highly concerned with worldly possessions and experiences for the first 32 years of his life. After the H.E.R.O.E.S. outbreak, he experienced a spiritual awakening and embraced his new identity.

Trivia

• Jadus' name comes from the first half of Jadusable, which itself is derived from "Judas."
  • It is currently unknown at what point he adopts this name, though he states in transmission.txt that the remaining people after the outbreak use aliases, often taken from pop culture.
