Kayd Hendricks, also known by his in-game alias Ryukaki, is a contributing writer for a small portion of Moon Children. He is a writer, graphic designer, digital artist, and game developer currently employed at R-Kayd Studios. The character Ryukaki is based entirely on him.

Work
Kayd has held two positions for the game development company Trendy Entertainment. As Design/QA Lead and Designer, he took part in the development of both Dungeon Defenders and Dungeon Defenders II. In 2014, he began working at Studio Wildcard, participating in the development of ARK: Survival Evolved and becoming project lead on ATLAS. From 2020 to 2024, he worked at Obsidian Entertainment as senior area designer on Avowed. In late 2023, he began his own freelance studio, R-Kayd Studios.
Role in Ben Drowned
During Moon Children, Kayd was the sole player to receive the username and password to The Truth from Rosa, which led to his character's mention in mhftt.txt. He was given permission from Alex Hall to orchestrate his own side story, which contained several videos and MediaFire files.
