Hello! If you're here, it may be because you've noticed a new community post on Jadusable's YouTube channel. That pretty much puts us on the same page, because that's all that's happened so far (at time of writing). If you're new here and this event has somehow resulted in you stumbling upon this place, please feel free to join our little community here. And if you're a returning player, reader, lurker, saboteur, detective, theorizer, fairy, owl, or some other flavor of familiar with this story, welcome back!

In the time since many of you have been gone, a few developments have occurred in a yet-untitled story that seems to be approaching. It's unclear as to whether this Persona 4-related update is part of that narrative, so those updates haven't been added to the page quite yet. Then again, considering the date hinted at, we may just be in for a little goof.

ABOUT THE STORY

Ben Drowned initially followed the story of Jadusable, a college student who discovered a malevolent entity called BEN lying dormant within a copy of The Legend of Zelda: Majora's Mask. After posting his findings on 4chan, Jadusable disappeared and BEN was seemingly released onto the Internet. In their attempts to stop it, readers stumbled upon the Moon Children, a cult with dark secrets and ties to BEN's origin. Throughout the years, various players and characters alike – such as Rosa, Alex, and Sarah – have fought to uncover the truth behind a child's murder, the people responsible, and the disappearance of anyone who stands in their way.

Some of the ARG's information has been lost or destroyed due to websites and forums being lost. Recovery efforts for the remaining missing content are being made.

A few relevant videos have been taken down from characters' YouTube channels. They can still be viewed via re-uploads, which can be found on their respective pages.

The current incarnations of youshouldnthavedonethat.net and Within Hubris are archives of their canon counterparts from 2010 and 2011, and are not supported by Alex Hall. They are not resources for current canon content.
